What's Accepted?

We accept all electronic items. Below is a general list of what we accept for electronics recycling. If you are unsure our don't see your item on the list please feel free to contact us and we can further assist you.   

Why is electronics recycling important?

Recycling of electronics is important for many reasons, some being saving of energy, reducing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. Improper disposal of electronics can lead to more pollution in the air and chemicals seeping into our water tables. Recycling electronics will help us avoid using natural resources we find through mining and manufacture new items with recycled electronics instead.

RECYCLING FACT: Is there lead contained in Televisions?

CRT TV's or monitors also known as tube or boxed TV's each contain about 4 to 8 pounds of lead in the glass tube. These are lined with toxic phosphor dust and need special handling and care when recycling. If being collected for electronics recycling, Recyclers should keep television units in one piece leaving it for the processors to dismantle properly

RECYCLING FACT: What type of metals are contained inside electronics such as computers?

Home personal computers contain precious metals inside. Metals like  aluminum, antimony, arsenic, barium, beryllium,  cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper, gallium, gold, iron, lead, manganese,  mercury, palladium, platinum, selenium, silver, and zinc. It takes a lot of electronics recycling to gather enough of any of these materials to have a good payout.
